Happy Holidays!!

Thank you EFC residents for brightening our holiday season during this difficult year with all the festive and fun decorations!!

Season's Best Award Winner 2020
 - Holiday Decor & Landscape -

This yard is decked out with a festive display of lights, reindeer, trees, a snowman and a very special visitor on the front porch. How fun!  The landscape is also beautiful with a beautiful old live oak and a lovely stone retaining wall as a foundation for the stately home.

Thanks to the Sobieskis for their efforts to give the entire neighborhood a scene to enjoy as we all say goodbye to a difficult year and look forward to 2021!  You can find more pictures of their  beautiful landscape on our website by clicking here.

FALL INTO FITNESS! - RESULTS

And the Winner Is . . .
Congratulations to Whiffletree V, VI, VII!
 
While Whiffletree won the 2020 Fittest Neighborhood Award, the Estates of Forest Creek was a close second!  The award was based on average time per person registered.  Six neighborhoods participated and logged a total of 95,816 minutes (66 days worth) of physical activity during the month of November.

Fun Through Food

Are you looking for something new and different to add to your holiday meal this year? The world is filled with many different cultures and traditions, celebrated with tasty treats sure to satisfy your appetite. 


Learn more through the Holiday Trivia challenge. The trivia questions will teach you about different holidays, while the Challenge encourages you to cook a dish you normally wouldn’t serve during this time of the year. Explore recipe suggestions to help you compete in this challenge.

Holiday Challenge:
  • Try a different recipe from around the world. Send a picture and description of what you made to best@plano.gov.
