SUBJECT: Welcome New Beautification Director & Fourth of July Celebration

June 27, 2024

FROM THE BOARD
Summer To Do List ... Join HOA!

The hot weather is here and the rain has left. This means our HOA expenses can go up dramatically due to irrigation, both water and broken pipes when ground shifts due to the dry, hot weather.

Please help us meet our budget for these expenses by paying your dues now.

  • Dues are still a low $150, one of the lowest in our area!
  • It's easy to pay online on our EFCHOA website (http://www.efchoa.com) using the button below or you can leave a check in the drop box on my porch at 7313 White Castle Lane.

THANK YOU to the 227 Homeowners out of our 436 Homeowners who have already paid their 2024 dues! We appreciate your investment in our neighborhood! Any questions regarding membership, please don't hesitate to reach out to me at membership@efchoa.com.

BEAUTIFICATION NEWS
Welcome New Beautification Director!

Dear Estates of Forest Creek Neighbors and Residents,

I am excited to introduce myself as the new Beautification Director for our HOA. My name is Maston Kucheki, and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work alongside all of you in making our neighborhood an even more beautiful and welcoming place to live.

With a passion for design, landscaping and community enhancement, I look forward to implementing projects that will enrich our surroundings and foster a sense of pride in our community.

Whether it's through seasonal planting, landscape design, or neighborhood clean-up initiatives, my goal is to create an environment where we all feel grateful to call home.

I am joined in this endeavor by my wonderful fiancé, Clay, and our dog, Nova. You might see us taking walks around the neighborhood, gathering inspiration for our beautification projects, and we are always happy to stop and chat!

I hope to come together as a community to hear your ideas and collaborate on projects that reflect our collective vision for a vibrant and well-maintained neighborhood.

Please feel free to reach out to me with any suggestions or questions.

Cheers,

Maston K.

SEASON'S BEST AWARD
Summer Award Goes to 3608 Mt Pleasant

Our Summer Season's Best Landscaping recognition was awarded to Keith and Kristin Kerwin of 3608 Mount Pleasant Lane. The Kerwin’s lawn has many beds for flowering and non-flowering plants including beautiful perennial plants that require little water to thrive. Their side yard includes an inviting bench in a shady setting.  The Kerwin’s moved to their home in 1993. Thanks so much Kristin and Keith for helping to make our neighborhood beautiful.

CRIME WATCH NEWS
CRASE (Citizen Response to Active Shooter Events)

In early September, we will be hosting a presentation of the CRASE Program presented by Officer Krc and Officer Bianez at the Davis Library location.

CRASE (Citizen Response to Active Shooter Events) is a nation wide program devised by ALERRT (Active Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training) out of Texas State University.

The information that will be presented in this program will be very beneficial should any of us ever find ourselves in a situation that requires us to call upon what we learn in this program, so stay tuned for further details.

Comfort Your Pet During July Fourth

Did you know more pets are lost during the July Fourth holiday than any other holiday? Between the frightening booms, flashing lights and unfamiliar guests, it can be a scary time for your furry friends. Take these steps to keep your pet safe:

  • Exercise your pet before the festivities.
  • Prepare a safe space for your pet with a bed and toys where they won’t hear the loud fireworks.
  • Feed your pet a filling meal 1-2 hours before the celebration.
  • Cuddle your companion and keep calm so they can follow your lead and relax.
  • Distract your pet with a television or radio to help drown out the loud noises.
  • Register your pet  to help get that pet home sooner if they are ever lost. If a pet slips out the gate, its tag is the first and easiest way to get it home quickly.

If you have lost or found a pet, visit the Lost & Found Pets page for information.
Remember, it is against the law to have fireworks within the city limits of Plano.
