Plano Police Drug Take Back Initiative

On Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the Plano Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration will host DEA’s National Prescription Drug Take Back Day at locations across the country. DEA and its partners will collect tablets, capsules, patches, and other solid forms of prescription drugs. 

For more than a decade, the event has helped Americans easily rid their homes of unneeded medications—those that are old, unwanted, or expired—that too often become a gateway to addiction. Take Back Day offers free and anonymous disposal of unneeded medications at the main entrances of the following Plano schools:

  • Bowman Middle School (2501 Jupiter Road, Plano, TX 75074)
  • Plano East Senior High School (3000 Los Rios Boulevard, Plano, TX 75074)
  • Clark High School (523 Spring Creek Parkway, Plano, TX 75023)
  • Plano Senior High School (2200 Independence Parkway, Plano, TX 75075)
  • Plano West Senior High school (5601 West Parker Road, Plano, TX 75093)
