About Us

The Estates of Forest Creek (EFC) is an attractive, vibrant and welcoming community conveniently located in Northwest Plano – considered by many as one of the most desirable areas to live in all of Texas and the entire United States.

Our neighborhood is a diverse yet cohesive mix of young families, empty-nesters, retirees and diverse ethnicities. Many of our EFC homeowners have developed close friendships with neighbors and we all watch out for one another.

Our community of over 400 homes uniquely offers very close access to a wide variety of City of Plano services (Police, Fire, Library, etc), parks, shopping, dining, entertainment, sports/fitness related facilities, walking/jogging/biking paths, and so much more. Within just 1-2 blocks of our EFC neighborhood are the City of Plano Police Station, Maribelle Davis Library and Prairie Meadow Park, walking trails and a large pond.

Unlike most nearby neighborhoods, EFC has a divided main street (Hearst Castle Way) into and out of our community, with an elegant entrance way, tree-lined median and bridge connecting different sections of the neighborhood. Our EFC residents are fortunate to have the comfort and safety of a small town within our community, along with all the modern conveniences of a much larger city just minutes away.

A key motivation for families relocating to Plano is the excellence in education that has been the hallmark of our school district for more than 100 years.  In fact, our EFC neighborhood is directly across the street from Mathews Elementary School, a perennial Blue Ribbon Award” winning school.  The older kids attend Schimelpfenig Middle School, Clark High School, and Plano Senior High School – all just a few miles away from our EFC community.  In addition, we have an abundance of pre-K programs and several highly rated private schools nearby.

Our EFC Homeowners Association (HOA) is considered by many of our homeowners as playing a key role in making our neighborhood such a desirable place to live. Our HOA membership is voluntary and has one of the lowest annual membership fees of any of the nearby communities. Despite being voluntary, our HOA membership is consistently strong, year after year, due to the added benefits.

As an HOA member, our residents support the beautification, maintenance and upkeep of the common areas of the community, have closer ties with their neighbors, and are able to participate in a wide variety of HOA-sponsored social activities & special interest groups. Furthermore, many of our HOA members are active in numerous civic, charitable, environmental, and regional/national social organizations.

Our HOA mission is to enhance the beauty, enjoyment and value of the Estates of Forest Creek. We will keep the landscaping healthy; organize activities for our residents; provide information relevant to our daily live and well-being; and build a sense of community.

For nearly 25 years, the Estates of Forest Creek Homeowners Association (EFCHOA) has provided for the beautification of our neighborhood and created a valuable social network to support our community with many services and organized activities.
